Eschen Welcomes a New Director of Prosthetics
Eschen is proud to introduce Glenn Hutnick, CPO, FAAOP as the new Director of Prosthetics. Glenn has worked with Eschen supporting prosthetic efforts across the organization since April 2014. As a full-time employee and the Director of Prosthetics, Glenn will continue to bring to Eschen a wealth of prosthetic knowledge and experience.
“I have known Glenn Hutnick for over twenty-five years and am excited to join forces to create a differentiated prosthetic program in the New York Metropolitan area”, say Andrew Meyers, CPO, President of Eschen.
Glenn became certified in 1979 and shortly after formed GFH Prosthetic and Orthotic Labs. He was one of the original members of the Sabolich Prosthetic Team, which was responsible for the widespread introduction of the Sabolich Ischial Containment Socket. Glenn is also the current Chairman of AAOP’s Fabrication Society. He holds the distinguished title of Fellow of the American Academy of Orthotics and Prosthetics (“FAAOP”). Glenn was also involved in the early formation of National Association for the Advancement of Orthotics and Prosthetics (“NAAOP”). NAAOP is a patient advocate and political action association instrumental in fighting for patient’s rights and improving reimbursement in the orthotic and prosthetic field.
Eschen’s plan is to start offering orthotic and prosthetic services in Glenn’s Bohemia facility. With the addition of Bohemia, Eschen will now have a total of seven full-time offices and positioned as the pre-eminent orthotic and prosthetic organization in the New York metropolitan area.
